When she was only five years old her stomach began to swell and she developed physically unusual to her age. Her parents thought she has a growing tumor and they sought for medical help. The doctors found out that it wasn't what they thought to be which is the tumor but her belly is starting to swell because she is seven months pregnant instead. The doctors were shocked because she is too young to be a mother.

They took x-rays in her uterus to confirm it. They made a research and a study about her hormones. They later on, found out that she had a regular period since she was eight months old. At four years old, her breast is already developing. Her figure displayed pelvic widening and an advance bone maturation at the age of 5.

On May 14, 1939, she gave birth to a baby boy named Gerardo weighing six pounds which is the normal weight for a newborn. She have to undergo C-section for her pelvis didn't have enough space to deliver her baby.

During the surgery, doctors discovered that Lina developed mammary glands and sexual organs called "precocious puberty".

But our question is, who impregnated her? The father of the baby was never found out, but Lina's father was allegedly abusing her. There were no evidences to support the allegations so he was freed.

Medina family lived a normal life. Gerardo thought Lina was her sister until he was 10 years old. Lina went to school and also received an educational support for her son.
